  • Is it me, or does the detail of the materials look better in Cry Engine 2? I don't know but I've downloaded this engine and although looks nice, i feel that the textures of walls and such are not as detailed. Also, why have they used a random Ai in the game that lags when you shoot his gun. And I notice when I shoot something on the ground the partical effects are sprites and looks weird. Is there a way to make the overall 'look" of the game better?

  • great videos!:) i learn alot from you i was wondering if you could help me with an issie i have when getting the river objects>misc>river the river axis show up and they can be manipulated, but.. once i drag i see no dot to move or a border there is nothing, all the pin points are not visable, now if i add a MTL the river shows shape but the pin pints for manipulating are still not visable, im thinking maybe my river file is missing the texture or something, could you pls help ?, Thanks

  • Hi there, I've been following your videos for a while now, as well as some others. I've been wondering if there is any possible way to have a larger map size, with the units per meter being relatively small. I want a very (epic) large map, but I still want to have details such as rivers in them, which are hard to do with a high units per meter ratio.

    Have any ideas?

  • This is nice, but how can I make a lake without lowering.

  • Very nice tutorial! Will this be an environment you will be finishing and releasing?

  • thank you very much :)
