You described self acceptance in a very simple way. I understand that self acceptance might be like a dance, it comes and go. Any tips on how to manage me when self acceptance is down?

When your self confidence is down, remember that you are an extension of he divine here on earth and are worthy of love exactly as you are with all of your faults and positive qualities. You can do nothing to increase or decrease your self worth. It is not dependent on how you look, what others think or what you accomplish - it is dependent only on fact that you are divine.
