I don't think they will be able to get people to forgive them. They'll have to wait it out. They should learn about US policy. Mexico government used to get money from drug cartels. US government said no more. Cartels fought back, and increased violence in Mexico. Sister did not feel safe without body guard, and some with bullet proof windows on car. Colombia gov. less powerful than militia. Militia fueled by drug money, etc. US with demand for drugs. They should learn immigration law.
