  • Liszt is my favorite composer; I recognize the augmented chords, the chromatic harmonies, the mysterious melody in the bass, the tremolos, ... I love every note :)

  • @uutbchh Thank you very much for your comments!

  • This piece was just played here in an arrangement for 8 cellos by the Finnish cellist Anssi Karttunen. Do you know what the title of this piece means?

  • @dbadagna Hello! The title means "disaster" in three languages: Germany, French and Italian.

  • Great! My congratulations!

Rarely i can listen Liszt pieces like this!

  • Hello Maestro, thank you very much for watching the video, I am glad you liket it!

  • Hi! I take a look at the score and it seems to suggest that Liszt actually intended the opening octaves to be played with the left hand, hence the pedal mark for the following tritones. Otherwise it would be useless. What do you think ?

    Anyway, nice peformance !

  • Thank you, Renan!

  • Great Renata! That is a great music performed by a great pianist.
