  • Palin/Bachmann 2012!!!

  • its not about price, its about security! what would happen if other countries that really hate us, decide to use oil against us.

  • Palin has a vested interest in keeping energy prices high as her government in Alaska is subsidized by big oil. In fact the sharp recent decrease in gasoline costs is hurting the Alaska treasury, making it harder for her to send welfare checks to her constituents at will. [BTW, Alaska receives much more in federal revenue than it contributes, making it a 'welfare state'].

  • RIGHT ON SARAH !!!!!!! we need jobs and energy . NOT welfare and government handouts !!!!!! drill baby drill !!!!!

  • ha ha ha

  • Will increase domestic production by 1% in 10 years. In the meantime, US consumption is going down.

The sliver of land she's talking about is the coastal plain and developing that will destroy the rest of the refuge.

How can a project that gives 250,000 jobs not affect the landscape. Come on.

She is totally irresponsible to the people, the landscape, totally owned by Big Oil.

  • The last time I could get gas for under $1 a gallon was back in 1993 or 1994.

  • We might have a lot but at what cost to bring these oil out from the ground. Also, these vast land with oil potential is in the hands of the oil companies. They are not willing to increase oil production which will bring the price down. Oil companies are there to make money.

  • Why would the oil companies want to increase supply of oil, would that bring the price down. As you know, these oil companies are there to make money. They are not non-profit organizations.
