Used police cars are gaining popularity in the Midlands, particularly the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor.

@nightmathzombieethan They have the 4.6L V8 SOHC. The police interceptor has a different tune in the computer, different suspension, and usually have a limited slip rear axle. Also the transmissions are beefed up a little bit, higher line pressure for firmer shifts. They man also have a different exhaust system for more HP.

I think that most of them have 350's in them, but what's the scoop on the mechanicals in these? What makes them better than a factory crown vic?

all my friends in my cvb chapter are white, and if they are referring to cvb as a gang its a car club with chapters, mine being the 38th. This seems a bit stereo typical. ive seen all races with interceptors so its not a black car, or a gang car this rev. is sayin and whys he scared of the police unless he was guilty of something? lol but im glad people are gettin vics more now.

I LOVE my Crown Vic. Its funny because every time I see an officer we wave xD

It hasn't got anything to do with mocking the police or being in a gang. It has to do with whether or not you like the vehicle. I own a 1998 Crown Vic and I love it because it's an awesome car. It doesn't matter what color you are or what country you come from. If you like a car then you like it, period.

@mazafuzle nope mine never came with one nor did it come with a cut out in the A-Piller for one. most people dont have spotlights on their vics because 1. its illegal to have it pointed outward toward ppl or have the spotlight turned on. (so the only legal way to have it is turned inward over the windshield). and 2 it sometimes creates a blind spot because when its turned inward it gets it the way. i still like the spotlights though. it gives it a more offical look to it.
