@vladzo isnt "poly rhythmic" and "multi rhythmic" the same thing? i dont mean to i a troll a actually am curious.

besides being fundamental, this number shows how rythm is as important as melody, and rythm may be both poly-rythmic and multi-rythmic. there is more than one concurrent rythm in most of this number; that is poly-rythmic, and there is more than one dominant consecutive rythm in all of this number. this simple little dance number has much more to offer than what meets the EAR on the first listening.

this is one of the most basic of march 4th's numbers; the most basicaly fundamental marching band sound.
