@ChristianGastl I listened to the same player last year at a concert in SF and I gotta say it just isn't the same without Kenny Kirkland, the guy kinda killed half the show for me but hey everyone has their own taste

Kenny just looked a little sleepy for a second. Probably just got off a plane. I don't think the musicians are beefin at all. If they were, there'd be no eye contact at all. That's how you can tell. The drummer is just looking for cues, musical and otherwise. A lot of things go unsaid on the band stand. Musicians should be in-tune with each other, literally and figuratively, before they hit the stage.
