I just saw a documentary on CBC Doc Zone (free online) titled "The Disappering Male" . It stated that the plastics in our society today disrupts "estrogen" which causes the body to store fat. It also interfers with fertility. A true eye opener and perhaps another link in answering the obesity debate.

Does bottled water contain flouride?

Bottled water varies quite a bit. For example, Dasani, is bottled tap water from Brampton, Ontario, filtered 5 times. I could do the same thing with my Brita filter. Some bottled water from France or Italy has small amounts of naturally occuring fluoride and then some companies actually add fluoride to the bottled water. I chose to drink distilled as my first choice, as it has nothing in it. It tastes "crisp & clean". Once in a while I get flat Italian mineral water, just for the minerals.

Thanks for the response.

Where does one pickup distilled water....local health food stores?? Also, I heard somewhere that distilled water is mineral free, which is supposedly a bad thing? Is this true, and if so, can it be off-set by a mineral supplement?

I'm in Canada as well so hopefully you R familiar with some of the stores I will mention. I buy gallon jugs at Food Basics -it is .99 cents each. It's sold almost any grocery store & drug store, "Shoppers Drug Mart" but why pay more. You're correct, it has nothing in it... no minerals, but from time to time I buy Evian, or an Italian mineral water. Also, minerals are in veggies and fruits, I haven't worried about it, but that is a personal choice to supplement or not. Google mineral contents

Thanks for the information again. I'll look into distilled water as an alternative.
