I seem to recall that this show was popular no matter who was playing Captain Marvel, so I doubt if it was John Davey who killed the series, but more likely network executives. For my money I preferred Jackson Bostwick, though, for some reason, Davey got more screen time in the shows he was in.

This one was the lame Captain marvel that killed the show.The first one was popular to the point that DC illustrated him on a Giant ( Really Big,Big- comic book) of Shazam. But the greatest Captain Marvel was the movie serial one by far.
