This guitar is made to feel 12 year old kids feeling hardcore, and to learn some chops. When they'll mature, they'll get a Jackson or ibanez etc. What's all the hate spitting about? You know that a 20 year old would never get one. About the high end custom ones, it's a different ballgame. However for the $ rather get a gibson

Actually First Act has been around for many years and started out building custom guitars only. They have a "youth series" of course, but they build some high quality guitars as their mainstay. I have one of the Garagemaster guitars (which has the same electronics as this model,W/ Delia styling) and the thing plays awesome. Excellent action and set-up from the factory and the thing screams harmonics . Those who put down First Act, have simply never played one.

I love first acts. Once you oil up the fretboard, and change out those god awful strings, they're great. And let's face it, once you're playing metal, everyone is gonna scream at you to get active pickups. So eventually you will, and this just begs for SD blackouts. Which will happen as soon as christmas is over. :)
So if i have a metal inspired pick-guard i will have an easier time playing metal?
