ive seen 9 year olds do this level of choreography. she should try more difficult but overall a good danceer(:

I thought she was really good, beautiful leg extensions. However the costume was so distracting I couldn't stop comenting on it the whole time I watched. The shape of the front made her look awkward during most of it.

@jstme247365 Like I said, it's all a matter of taste. I just would have let my emotions take over more. Contemperary dances arent suppose to look well rehearsed. They are suppose to portray "in the moment emotion" thats why modern dance takes such a hit to your heart when its improv. I think she has enough body awareness to let her body do what it remembers and for her to look inside herself as she dances. Everyone has pale performances and this is only one of hers

i think she should put more energy into her dancing; show it means something! part of that may be that i encourage my dancers to have a little more muscle mass if they plan on pursueing contemporary dance career or just about anything other then ballet but thats just about taste. i think her lines are beautiful but the song out-emotioned her which isnt good, but okay for an amateur competition. great job!.
