It was a mighty feat to do it in such a short time at 16/17. However, with no goal of beating Johnny's time record, Jordan Romero (13) became the youngest to climb Everest. When he climbs Vinson Masif he will have completed the last of the 7 summits. It's taken nearly five years, but he also holds or tied the "youngest" record for a number of other summits, including Kilamanjaro and Denali, which he summited at ages 10 and 11. Both boys want to inspire other kids - what a team they'd make!

I love what Jonnny said.. Its easy to become lost in the world of electronic distractions, chatting on the computer, texting messages, talking about life instead of living it. I want to live life rather than watching it on tv. That is really inspiring!

well you reached the summit of everest today. way to go buddy. you have no idea how inspiring that is, to not only us, but to people who've never met u.
