A solo I arranged and performed at Wilfrid Laurier's Cabaret Night. I also played with the Burnaby District Handbell Choir called Soundwave. There are other mini clips of the Soundwave Handbell Choir on youtube at the Children's Festival in Vancouver.

I especially love playing this solo because many people have a misconception of what Handbells really are.

  • Personally, I think you should add a brass accompaniment with it, as it's definitely a hard work for handbell soloist to play a fast song. Distracting the audience with another instrument will give you a second within the phrases and it keeps your energy to enjoy your music.

I never been playing any handbell solo, but just ensemble and quartet and I'm going to try duet in the coming school year. So, let's keep on ringing~!^.^
