this man can barely speak the language of the nation which he and his party desires to join. the truth is the time for Puerto Rico to become part of the union is long gone. it was during the cold war, which is why Ramey Air force base was such an important global position. if United States wanted Puerto Rico to become a state they would have found a way to make it happen long time ago. just like many americans were not ready to have a black president, and were not ready to have gays in uniform.

@crazychinopr eso es una gran farza algunos estados tienen 2 idiomas oficiales pero NINGUN ESTADO TIENE la educación en español, EEUU no nos dejará porque es solo un sueño el tener un estado que sea en español EEUU tiene una variedad de culturas pero JAMAS desean ser una nación multinacional, + con la educacón en inglés y creciendo con la mentalidad de que somos americanos la cultura se destuirá, tambien nunca podiéramos ser representados en deportes o miss universo u otros como PR,solo como USA

We, Puerto Ricans, are US Citizens and should have the right to become a State of the Union. We are Americans as well as the citizens living in the Mainland, Alaska and Hawaii.

PS: Rivera Schatz sounds... funny... speaking English lol And he seemed very nervous right there xDD Same ideals, but I believe he should improve his English accent and relax a bit =)

El problema con la estadidad federada es que hay un problema legal. Y es que Puerto Rico es un Territorio NO-Incorporado, no es un Territorio Incorporado. En buen castellano quiere decir que Puerto Rico no es parte de EU (somos ciudadanos americanos, pero vivimos en un territorio que no es parte de EU). Ahora le pregunto a los estadistas: Seguirán las tendencias independentistas??? Eso lo quiero ver si es así.
