Fly Fishing in Japan. The river runs through a national park. I could touch beautiful wild nature and fish there in the national park. Unusually no snow around the lodge which opens in the last week in April. Cold and fast snow water got trouts hiding their body beneath rocks. I used small caddis pupas and midge flies and no fish on midge. Soon the best season for dry fly fishing will come. See ya!

  • hey there, good job. wat kind of flies do u use?

  • Thank you for your comment. The original file is MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 1280X720P 30fps taken by SANYO CA-9. Enjoy fishing!

  • Oh! You asked me about flies! I used green caddis pupa. As water was very cold. Thank you for watching my youtube.

  • wow thats amazing, i had no idea that japan had trout like that.

  • Thanks! I hope you like fishing in Japan.

  • おもしろい、ありがたおう。

I hope to fish Oze. I live in Niigata. I find flyfishing very difficult in Japan. Lure and bait fishmen don't practice catch&release.

Iwane, yamame, etc. take much time to grow, years compared to rainbow.

There are over a million fishermen in Japan. Natural streams/rivers are under threat of concrete fortification. Keiryuu flyfishing is my hobby.

I hope Japanese protect the rivers and native fish.

    私の考えだけ...

  • Thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you.

Every fly fisher think same as you.

On the one hand flood-control is very important in Japan , as we have lot of rain in the rainy season. And we have traditional food culture to eat fish. Unfortunately Iwana and Yamame taste very good , better than rainbow. Difficult problems they are!

  • Your videos would be alot better if you did not play music. The music takes away from the natural sounds of the outdoors. I would love to watch your videos but the music ruins the videos. I would much rather listen to the sound of the streams.

  • @musicflyman So beautiful! Japan has such amazing places that no one knows about, You would think with all the people there, places like this would not exist!

  • yes! awsoome video!!!!!

  • omg there are no racist comments here about ''cruel japanese fishing''. that's a first.
