This Is How A Heart Breaks

PAUSE AND READ: COMPLICATED. BUT WATCH IF YOU LIKE?

Casey is with Max, so Derek asks Sally if she's still with her boyfriend to try to make Casey jealous because he SO wants Casey. Sally makes it sound like she's available to him, and right when he sees Max and Casey, he's like...'Oh, I am so going after Sally'.

But he starts getting frustrated, since he DOES have an attraction to Sally (Which doesn't compare to the feelings he has for Casey), but Sally acts like she doesn't want him.

Max starts avoiding Casey because she starts smothering him because Derek started going after Sally (and Casey SO wants Derek.)
And just as Derek and Sally finally kiss her boyfriend Patrick walks in and Derek finds out SHE'S A CHEATER! And she is beotchy about it. Right before she says, "I can't do this now Patrick", is the scene where Max breaks up with Casey. Casey is ticked.

Noel comes back into Casey's life and tries to tell her that he wants to be with her (Especially now that she is free), but Max comes in and begs her forgiveness and asks that she take him back. Casey forgives him, and Noel is sad.

But then Casey breaks up with Max, because she realized it was better that they weren't together, and Sally comes to Derek to ask for his forgiveness, but he finally tells her that he can't do it (At Smellie Nellies) and leaves her.

And Derek still thinks that Max and Casey are together so when he daydreams about them kissing he hits his head so a BETTER kiss comes into his mind.

So he tries to get Sally back now that she REALLY isn't with Patrick but she's like, "Nah, we can't. We're just buddies." Dang, operation jealous-Casey won't work.

Casey looks sad when she walks into Derek's room, he asks if she's okay and she's like, "I broke up with Max."

Noel asks Casey out, since she is single AGAIN, but she rejects...he tries again, while Derek is watching; and he is forced to watch them kiss as she accepts (Though he dreams of taking her away from him to have her for himself.)

And while she is with Noel Derek tells her that he wants her but she thinks that Derek knew that Sally was still dating Patrick. That qualifies Derek as a cheater. So even though she wants to be with Derek she rejects Derek; and still breaks up with Noel because she really didn't want him as much as he wanted her.

Derek's like, "Now she is free and clear." Sam "She into you?", Derek "Oh man, she is."

Casey struggles with her two break-ups until the kind of kiss she REALLY wanted pops into her head. And she knows what she needs to do. And what she needs to tell Derek.

Long summary, but as goes the breaking of hearts and the drama of teens. Enjoy?

Yeah, they are step siblings in the show, but step siblings hooking up is not unheard of. I mean, I think it's fine because they didn't grow up together as brother and sister, and they aren't BLOOD related. But if you don't agree, I understand, just don't flame me or anything.
