Which Warhammer Army?

Which warhammer Army should I buy, and what are the stats for powerswords,fists, and claws?(melee items) Which Army should I build? Tau, Necron Spacemarines, ork, eldar,dark eldar, or what?

The rules for close combat are in the rulebook which should of came with the assault on black reach box you have but anyway power weapons, ie:sword ignore armour and power fist doubles strength ignores armour but strikes last.

dude, play Eldar! We need more Eldar Players. Eldar are complicated and can be tough but if played right can destroy anything. I have a 1500 point list tailored for killing space marines. You know with Eldar, the main tank (Fire Prism) can link its shot with other's. I can make an ap3 strength 6 large blast which can decimate a tactical squad in one shot. An Eldar HQ called the Farseer can have some awesome ablitities- you can have rerolled shots and wounding- those are only some of his powers.

eldar are da bomb. the best thing about the eldar are how customizable they r. most armies have a sertian combat style but eldar have troops for all types

Well, its more taste. If I was going for Cheap, definently Space marines. Space Wolves or Blood Angels in particular. Theyre fun, theyre different from the other chapters and is doesnt cost an arm and a leg to build . Hope that helps some
