this is when music really meant something, it had an identity, and although we were poor and didn't have much times were better. i miss thise days i long for them.

The Sulk lp was and remains a uniquely brilliant album. Unsurpassed for its great songwriting, fantastic vocals/ musicianship, endless invention and high end production. There is not a single wasted second on the lp and not a single duff track. This version of Club Country is unique to that release, the CD re-issue gave us the 7" edit of this track which totally ruins the flow of the songs. Great post! Cheers!

Hey Roddy - speak for yourself. Im reveling in the slight revisiting of the eighties by the current mis guided x factor dependant hoardes. I cant wait for re runs of Billy and his followers. Shames that he is no longer with us. Thanks again.

My pleasure. A long forgotten band, and they shouldn't be; they were brilliant.

@roddy76to86 Not Long forgotten for me. I heard this in Bathgate for the first time in about '81, hooked up with a bathgate girl about the same time, she introduced me to the local music scene and for the rest of my years i cant let lt go - thanks for posting.
