Your dog is so beautiful!! My cat has epileptic seizures as well. For those unfamiliar, this may frighten them. But during these seizures, the animals are not aware of what is happening and does not suffer as long as it lasts less than two minutes. This condition can be easily treated with phenobarbital (about 5 canadian dollars for a month). I think it's ok to ask. So many people would have put it down without asking.
