More progress on porting Half Byte Loader to the Playstation Vita. After a few tweaks I got a huge chunk of homebrews to run. Here I'm showing a few of them running on the vita: snes9xTYL (super nes emulator), Bookr (pdf reader), CSPSP, T.O.M.E. (text mode rpg), EmuMaster (game boy emulator), Zombie Crisis (FPS), Wagic (which loads about 10 times faster than on a real PSP, this talks for the improved access speed of this new memory stick format), cavestory (platform/adventure), Picodrive (sega genesis emulator), Spider solitaire, ScummVM (point-and-click adventure), Daedalus (N64 emulator, this is not DaedalusX64), FCEU-PSP (Nes emulator)

You can also see that the sound issue in picodrive was minor and is easy to fix by setting the audio output to 44kHz instead of 22.

  • And the link of Motostorm Artic??

    Upload plz ^__^

  • @gunguria it has been removed by Sony. You had to buy the game sometime between February 22 and March 2nd, basically :(

  • I think it's hilarious how someone spends 300 dollars to play zombie crisis on the psp vita, buy an adroid tablet for two hundred and you can play on ur tv with ps3 controllers!

  • @MyballsYoChin You're missing the point, I have more fun getting the device to do what it is not supposed to do, than playing the games themselves. But I'll be sure to follow your advice, sounds like a fun idea to play this on my big screen with ps3 controllers )

  • Listen, dude I REALLY need your help. I knew what to do, but when I found out everything got screwed up. I found out the motorstorm game was removed, I can't find a link to the VHBL downloads, everything is going haywire....I just need some guidance REALLY BADLY! Just tell me....there has to be a way for me to get the Picodrive and/or SNES emulator on my Vita AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! You HAVE to help me out. Please, just give me a break.

  • @DARKZERO216psn it's fake. how can one play something no one really fully understands?! we barely made our first step in homebrew with the use of the psp emulator.

  • hey wololo whats going on?? i have been seeing these videos on youtube of ppl saying there is a PSV exploit for letting the vita run iso/cso games-pirated games idk if its true or not---search youtube for---PS Vita Hack 1.60 1.61 - N3rOS4T Exploit and take a look your self please

  • @frwololo ok, so i'm new to this but can the ps vita be hacked so that we can play old psp games and new ps vita games or not?? thanks

  • @frwololo you think the n64 emulator will be smoother in a few months?

  • @MightyDawq

Still need homebrew enabled to play them.

They are dev created homebrew but the emulators are.

  • Hi, dont know if you will see this but ive managed to get vhbl working just fine and get the doom you packaged up and running fine, but I cant seem to run any homebrew i put on there, the homebrew installs but just a black screen, do you know what i may be doing wrong? I replace the install folder in the doom package with the homebrew, say snes9x or whatever its called, store it as zip named install, i followed your tutorial but maybe its not clear enough or im just not doing it right, thank you

  • those arent homebrews lmfao those are some cheap emulators
