On your mark ... get set ... GO! The Gemini roller coaster at Cedar Point gives riders an opportunity for bragging rights to the fastest train, as not one, but two trains run simultaneously on parallel tracks and race for a first-place finish. Guests cheer on either the red or blue train down the mammoth first hill, around wide bends and down the famous "low beam" hill that you must experience to believe. Even those who have ridden Gemini 100 times in one day say that no two rides are ever the same.

Gemini has given more rides than any other operating roller coaster at Cedar Point. Since 1978, the twin tracks have taken more than 80 million guests on the ride of their lifetime. In 2005, Gemini gave 1,717,112 rides. Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to experience the thrills of the Gemini.

This ride is super fun. If you go there you have to ride the Raptor...it's so much fun!!! :)

I loved this ride but I rode it when I was 9 so it was pretty traumatic!!! And when I rode both carts were going and I beat my uncle and sis and dad so it was funny and so much fun!!!!!!

Gemini is a mind trick. It looks like a wooden coaster, but its rails are actually the steel coaster style. That makes it quite smooth, but you get the added excitement of the wooden structure flying by and the "race coaster" effect. I've only ridden it once when they weren't running both trains, and it wasn't nearly as much fun.

@Kukes9095 Hope you enjoy the rides at the park. id love to spend two days strait there but ill probably just go to seprate times this year. this friday, and maybe sept. or aug. oh, just an FYI, if your planning on bring a camera on the rides, try and hide it because they have cameras on top of the rides and ive seen people get caught with them.
