Boy In The Striped Pyjamas || When Your Soul Embarks...

Watch in HD and cry...

I actually find it almost impossible to watch this film; which, incidentally, I've only ever seen once and that was enough for me. And that's why I don't understand why I'm vidding it. It's like I want to torture myself...

That being said, I find that this is the only film I cannot bear to watch. It's been burned into my mind in a way no other film has achieved and I am warning everyone; do not insult, slander or act in an impolite way towards the video, it's content, and that which is covers.

I remember my friends were unable to talk to me for ages after the film, the whole time outside the cinema I was all "don't talk to me, please don't talk to me" because my mind was trying to remind me that it was 'just a film' it wasn't real. But the thing is, it isn't just a film. It was real, the content of the film; the damage we all know to have been done and the travesties were all real.

If there's one thing I cannot stand, at all, it's people joking about such a calamity and finding cheap jokes out of it. So please. Not jokes or anything people.

Best form of protection against this is to never watch it, but then you have no protection against stupidity... :/

This is the only film I have ever come across, in my entire life, that I cannot watch again; indeed, I don't have to watch it again because it's been burned into my memory...

It's that powerful and poignant.

I actually haven't seen this movie but from what I've heard about it I don't think I want to....I hate wanting to cry through a movie =(

@hotterhatter2211 It's a good film, with a lot of important things, and it makes you think about something that is part of human history. I'm not going to lie and say it's all peaches and rainbows 'cause it seriously isn't. It's got an important message to impart and it does it so well that, even if you end up going through a thousand boxes of tissues, you'll still appreciate it for what it's subtly whispering to you throughout the scenes.

However, comfort food would be a smart thing to have.

This is an incredible vid, & I am crying again.

I saw this film in the cinema with my friends & we all came out in bits. One girl, the boy who played Bruno looked just like her little brother.

I, unfortunately, had to watch it in one sitting in the cinema with a couple of lads, from my school no less, laughing at it a few rows down. I ended up crushing my popcorn I was so angry (at the lads) and sad (at the film).

@Merlinfangirl I strongly recommend that you have plenty of tissues at the ready and some comfort food. This film really pulls at your heart-strings.
