Ya right. A properly maintained SHO would assrape a '86 GT. You can't tell me it was highly modded either, cause the 86's had the horribly one-off fuel injection system that was next to impossible to successfully tune on IIRC.

@marcomariaz26 Sorry, but I used to collect SHO's. I had three of them at one point. A bone stock SHO in need of a tuneup would blow the doors off a GT. I've done it MANY MANY times. Mustang Cobra, Camaro, Firebird, it didn't matter. The SHO blew their doors off.

I like my 96 STS. Its basically the same thing but I like the looks. Definitely a nice car and a sleeper. I love to play around with ricers with it...

@Brook32v 100 percent agreed any sho will take any 5.0 mustang they have more horse and more tourqe than a 5.0 dose by far and ontop of that pull off the sho's goveners and its running 300 hp ford detuned them just so mustang owners wouldent bitch about getting beat by 6 car lenghts on the 1/4 mile
