  • I feel like this performance lacks the pace and angst necessary for a proper depiction of an impassioned District Attorney desperately trying to uncover the truth and convince a jury. Its all performed rather blandly.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. Sorry ya didn't enjoy it. I'm proud of it however. Here's to ya possibly liking whatever it is I do next acting wise. Later.

  • I have performed this monologue several times for my drama class students. And I can tell you that the proper PACING allows for greater ease in YOU becoming a vessel for the emotions of Jim Garrison ( all of his angst, rage, frustration, etc.)... rather than just a "recital" of words punctuated by slightly too long stretches of silence as you think about what to say next. Makes it feel far less organic.

But I'll definitely be watching out for you in the future! LOL!

Thank you for all the kind words and advice. I appreciate it. I agree with you very much on the ending. I feel I heat up quite well myself too. I've seen this movie countless times since I first saw it. The ending always makes me ball because it touches with me on a very base level concerning things I believe in quite deeply myself. Thanks again for all the cooments.

  • Thank you knidly. I really appreciate it. Hope your having a merry Christmas. Later.

  • Don't get me wrong, good buddy. I did enjoy your work. You are CLEARLY very talented, and I certainly look forward to any other work you might post. Certainly toward the end of your performance here, you started to heat up quite a bit, which was great. I just think that for a monologue like this one, PACING is so important.

  • Nice delivery; I like how you didn't do a repeat of the performance. Instead you made it your own.
