Hahahahah people walking away lol. But what Dan is saying is true, Christians ignore a thousand other things that modern people and they themselves would not agree with that Bible says is right but when they criticize homosexuality bible is suddenly the go-to document

Christians always want the Bible to be taught in schools, and Dan starts to teach what's in the Bible and they leave!!!

And I see lots of homophobia and bigotry coming from Christians, that must mean all Christians are like that. Please.

Lack of belief is not a knowledge claim.

Again, hatred and anger towards God and His Word by (alleged) atheists is not just something I believe, it's something I regularly witness first-hand from their words and actions.

You make a lot of knowledge claims, but is it possible you could be wrong about them? In fact, could you actually be wrong about everything you think you know?

It's fine that you believe that atheists "hate god" and it's even better that you tell atheists what they believe. Like I said: it will only put them off whatever you say next. At least I tried to educate you on the issue.

Regarding the cliff, or should we call it hell, the eternal torture? Since you haven't provided evidence that it exists, your efforts, though loving, are misguided and stems from delusions. Your bible is fiction, just like all other religions out there.

I'm simply presenting what I've seen first-hand in my experience in conversing with atheists, further substantiated with validation from the Bible (Romans 1:20). They claim not to believe, but in the next breath will express their anger and hatred for Him, His Word, etc.

It is merely your opinion that the cliff "only exists in my mind" and thus irrelevant in context of our motivation, but thank-you for acknowledging that what Christians do IS out of love :)

You misrepresented what an atheist is. An atheist does not hate god, he or she does not believe in god. I thought I had made that clear.

Sure, if that's the case you are doing a loving thing. But outside that hypothetic scenario, it's a cliff that only exists inside your mind and a fall that will only happen after death. People are not convinced.

What did I misrepresent? I merely stated how we interact and the results of it. What was not honest?

The cliff is there, but they are blindly walked towards it. The fall will kill them.

You're not being very honest if you misrepresent the atheist position. I'd like you to tell me you won't do it again, because that would be neat.

Re: your question: Is the cliff invisible and will the fall hurt only after the person has already died of other causes?

We simply discuss ideas and worldviews, and they ultimately show the inconsistency in and illogical nature of theirs. Most of the time I don't even need to point it out to them, as long as they are being intellectually honest.

Question: Is it more loving to tell a person walking by that they are heading for a cliff or not?

That's how you approach people! You first tell them what their worldview is, then you tell them they are liars and then you tell them what they must do if they know what's good for them.

It's people like you that turn individuals off Christianity and Christians. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, that's the ironic thing. I know and talk to many atheists, and they will say they don't believe in God, yet also talk about how much they despise Him with anger in their voice. Fact is, EVERYONE knows there is a God, and as such they are without excuse.

One day we all WILL acknowledge Him, but far better sooner than later.
