  • First heard this song as a 19yo sailor on a destroyer in Key West for a couple days in 1966. I was in a bar shooting pool, drinking beer, kicked back, when someone played the song on the jukebox. The pool game stopped and we were just standing there listening to that song. Just could not get it out of my head, still can't, and that's a lot of years ago.

  • @drohegda the flag pole guy rings a bell. I saw the Allman brothers on the pier too with Duane. They were walking around the pier between shows. Amazing the acts that were there.
