A New Era: UNLV Runnin' Rebels 2011-2012

The Runnin' Rebels return to action this November and enthusiasm couldn't be higher in Las Vegas. Four NCAA Tournament appearances in the last five seasons combined with the hiring of new head coach Dave Rice make this one of the hottest tickets in all of Las Vegas.

Over the last five seasons the Rebels have averaged better than 25 wins leading to the No. 1 attendance mark on the West Coast. This is your chance to be part of the action. The 2011 squad returns four starters from last season's 24-9 NCAA Tournament team, and seven players that averaged better than 11 minutes. That combination should make UNLV a potent contender in the newly realigned Mountain West.

This year's non-conference schedule once again features several perennial top 25 teams. It all starts Tuesday, Nov. 1 vs. Washburn in an exhibition game before Coach Rice makes his official debut on Opening Night, Friday, Nov. 11 versus Grand Canyon. This season's non-conference home slate also features key dates with California and in-state rival Nevada, Reno. Also noteworthy are road games at Wisconsin and at Illinois. Dates and times for the 2011 conference schedule will be announced soon and will include key match-ups against San Diego State, New Mexico and Colorado State.

Season tickets are on sale now. End balcony seats are priced at just $105 with sideline balcony seats $195. Dugout and Plaza seating goes for $315 and $505, respectively. Some plaza locations (and all dugout locations, if available) require additional Rebel Athletic Fund (RAF) scholarship donations.
