Where'd I get it? I made it entirely by myself. Im just a regular guy who made this as a HOBBY in my home basement (without special machinery). It took me 1.5 years to complete, but If I didnt dedicate ALL the hours I did, It would have taken 2 or even 3 years. I used mostly scraps Ive collected over many years. It started with just a simple mechanical drawing on how it would self-lift. Then I just grabbed my welder and winged it from there. Wiring it up was a challenge. I drew the wiring schematic AFTER it was done so other people can toubleshoot any bad part. You can see the inside of it by watching the other video 'Inside the Mechanical Monster'. After much fine tuning and extra reinforcment in certain spots, it was winched outside and tested and repainted.

  • this is an unbelievably amazing display of engineering and skills! BADASS...i want one...lol

  • @djhaloeight Thank You!

  • One question: Wouldn't it have been easier to build it out of real van parts? You know, rather that having to scale everything down by 1/2?

  • @evianonly Not really... considering it was built from the inside out. The body panels that make it look like my van were made last
