A live performance by Citizen Cope of "Sideways" from the album "The Clarence Greenwood Recordings". Recorded with a Canon XL2 at Music Milennium in Portland, OR in October of 2005. This is the same footage I used to cut together the "Sideways" music video. If you'll notice, this is drastically slower than the video... ahhh, the wonders of editing.

I think this song played acoustic is so much better than when it's backed with all the instrumentals. This is just so raw and tugs at your emotions.

I have a feeling Clarence will suffer the same fate as many great artists. He will not be recognized or appreciated as he should until after his death. But maybe thats how he would want it. His music is pure.
