DID YOU KNOW: The place where the USS Cavalla is housed is rather...unique. Cavalla shares its exibit with a Destroyer Escort, the USS Stewart, and the wreck of a Merchant ship is close by. So this exibit is unique in the fact that is area houses the hunter (Cavalla), the protector (Stewart) and the Protectee (the merchant ship)

DID YOU KNOW: One of the ships that the Cavalla sunk was the Japanese Carrier Shokaku, one of the 6 carriers that helped launch the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Is this boat fitted with some sort of sonar in place of the pointy bow superstructure?

Thanks for posting this! It would be good if the palm trees around Cavalla could be removed - would allow much better views for shots like this.
