Still - I know Bakersfield is supposed to be a "tough town" and all, but Drew had to lie there subduing a vicious pitbull for "an hour of so until animal control could arrive"? Ah, don't they have any cops in that town? Or firemen? Mailmen? Men of *some* kind? I mean - sheesh. The kid's 9!

Ive had american pits my whole life. had one for 10 years and he got old had to put him down. now weve had this one for 4 years, my little sister learned to walk off him. nicest dog ever. its the owner, the enviroment etc. just like humans.

Okay seriously?... That dog was obviously not that aggressive if that little kid could stop it. This is retarded. The kid restrained the dog for an hour? yeah my ass. the dog just wanted to play with the smaller dog. If that dog was wanting blood it wouldve ripped the boy apart. so sad to see people treat dogs this way.

Think for a second: its not the dogs fault, human made Pit Bulls as they are.
Its our fault the race exists, and its exclusively the dogs OWNER fault for letting it loose.

Things like this assure me that the younger generation is actually ok! I am a grown up and I would have hesitated against a pit bull - kid deserves to be called a hero.
