Mega64: E3 2009 - The Microsoft Keynote

Hello my name is Hideo Kojima and I have found the Fountain of Youth. Many have asked my secrets of looking so young and I am here to announce them to the public. I call my method the "Mega64 Method." The first thing I do is buy a Mega64 shirt, any will do. Next I wear it for at least 6 hours, this infuses is with my own energy. Then I take it off and boil for many hours until the fibers break down. These fibers are added to a protein shake which I drink every morning for strength. I sit for three hours to wait for the shake to take effect. First my back starts to bend and my spine grows spikes that tear through my skin. Hair grows all over my body and my muscles engorge with the full power of the Mega64. When I have fully transformed into this new werewolf vessel I begin my hunt, I must feast in this form for the full effect of youth to invigorate my being.

I love felicia day but her fucking e3 microsoft announcements sucked ass, she was so annoying. It was bad enough that I didn't give a shit about what she was saying but she could also barely complete a sentence.

@Ostnizdasht206 okay well I personally don't like any of those other franchises except MGS, but yeah Halo and Gears are probably over with now. Which is cool, no series should run too long. I just always preferred my xbox to my Ps3 in pretty much every way. honestly though, my PC is better than both, and always has been, I think the whole console thing is getting old.

@YourPalHDee Blame Anonymous for that, not Sony. Microsoft and Nintendo could of easily been hacked as well. Also, PS3 has more games than just Uncharted. Infamous 1 & 2, Killzone 2 & 3, Little Big Planet 1 & 2, Resistance 1,2 & 3, God of War 3, Demon Souls, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid 4, Star Hawk, Twisted Metal, and a ton of other games. Sure Halo and Gears are good franchises, but since Dom's dead I'm pretty sure Gears it over and Halo is so old and redundant now.

@Ostnizdasht206 All PS3 would have to offer is uncharted.... who cares about exclusives? fucking Batman, Skyrim, Fallout, Borderlands, Call of Duty(if that is your sort of thing), and every other game is on both. in my opinion the Xbox offers a better experience, Sony's PSN has been a let down for a long time now, When I tried to claim my games for PSN being down for a month, it said I had to change my password, so I went to change it and the god damn server was down... for 3 days. useless.

@YourPalHDee How does it offer a better user experience offline? There is no difference between playing a game offline on either a PS3 or a 360. You pop the game in and wah-la! your playing the game. Exclusives are a big deal, why would you want to buy a console that doesn't make as many games as another console? If Microsoft won the gaming race gaming would be over as we know it. All they'd have to offer is Gears and Halo. No thanks.

@Ostnizdasht206 well... except that Microsoft offers by far the best user experience online and offline. Who gives a fuck about exclusives? The only exclusive title I give 2 shits about is Gears of War... which is on 360. PS3 tried to get into the casual market too with that move thing, and Nintendo Wii is motion controls and the Wii fit so don't make this about Kinect. Just admit that you are a fanboy and you hate Microsoft beyond any reasoning.

Microsoft should have stayed out of the videogaming industry and just let Nintendo and Sony duke it out like the good ol days. Microsoft's too caught up in their Kinect bullshit to even care about making great exclusives. "But what about Halo?" What about Halo? That franchise is old and done with, but if you REALLY want some Halo action get ready, because 4,5, AND 6 are one the way! ... fuck Microsoft.
