During an interview at the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix. An interviewer asked Schumacher, 'Would you fear Hakkinen if he decided to return to Formula 1?' Schumacher replied 'Yes, very much so' That's the impact Hakkinen had on him. A testament to Hakkinen does one not think

That is right. However had Senna lived, he most probably would've been Schuey's greatest rival.

he had enough after 2 world titles. if he'd continued, the mclaren would have made it too hard for him to win, but then kimi wouldn't have driven mclaren either. and so if the car would have been reliable, he (or kimi) would have been a 4 time world champion by the time schumi retired. schumi always had the luck of having a reliable car. hakkinen didn't.
