A demonstration of how to share data between two users in the SplashID Desktop and keep it in sync. In this example, we show how to sync the iPhone database with an iPad database, so you will end up with the same data on both device users.
Useless. I have written numerous emails to SplashID trying to get help with database sync and all they do is refer me to this video. First, I am not trying to sync an iPad and iPhone. Second, this video does not show how to add "Users" to the nice little drop down "User" menu, which this video shows to include iPad, iPhone, etc. My program does not let me add users unless they end in an email address extension. Switching to 1Password, which I should have done a long time ago. Bye SplashID.
This is a very poor demo video. Her voiceover does not sync with her cursor movements, which appear to be haphazard and poorly rehearsed. For the amount of money that SplashID charges for the iPad app, you would expect them to at least do a half decent job, but they have not bothered to do even that. The demo needs to be reworked, and the instructor needs to explain it in a step by step fashion, like how Apple does its demos.
Wow...wish I had known you had to be a rocket scientist to sync between your own devices BEFORE investing in this app and filling my iPad with all of my usernames and passwords! NOT for the average Joe!
Laura, database sync is confusing. Can I use the Splash Key to transfer between my iPhone and computer? But what can I do for my iPad? I agree with previous commenter that you need to make the sync process less confusing. I love the product except for the sync function.
The app has not got the entities quite right - confused among users / devices. You'd thing the use case in which one user has one laptop and multiple hand-held devices would be front and center. It's not. But once you beat back your intuition, it goes pretty smoothly.

Very useful. Glad that I saw this in Laura's post on the Splash forum.

Does the sync feature works between the iPad and the new "SplashID USB Key" ?
