@weeleon81 thanks for ruining it for me! lol. Great Show. I am only about halfway through the first season. I started watching it when it first came out but never got a chance to watch it right through. If they aren't going to go on with the show, maybe someone should make a script and turn it into a movie. The name of the family is based off a real life family from the 1800's I believe, so this is more of a modern spin more or less but sad its not on still.

did they only make 1 season???.. thats what iv been reading in comments! thats a damn shame, this show was pure class.. was the episode Dokey shot the mum the last one? so we never find out what happened next.. SUCKS ASS, this was filling to void left by the sopranos and the wire for me!!!

Grow up... It's a television show... if you think that people watch it and get the impression that all irish families are involved in this sort of thing you need a reality check... People are able to differentiate TELEVISION... from truth in everyday life. I'm extremely pretty pissed that it was cancelled. It was a great show, with a great cast that didn't get a fair run. Their an Irish family because that's the setting of the show, It's part to the plot. Grow up a bit would ya.

4 years later and I'm STILL PISSED this show was cancelled! It's funny because I very rarely ever watch television anymore, especially primetime television, and when I find something I actually like, the shit gets cancelled. Typical much? But yet American Idol gets 11 seasons....fuck mainstream television and mainstream America.
