custom Star Wars Jabba´s Palace Playset opening trap doors / Rancor pit

My Jabba the Hutt Palace diorama with swinging trap doors from the original 1983 Kenner Playset!
(Usually Jabba lies on these trap doors and you can´t open the dungeon beneath his throne.)
If you push the hidden button the doors swing out and Luke and the Gamorrean Guard fall down in the Rancor pit. The shelf for my action figure collection was my own construction.
It took a lot of time to put the doors in the opening that these can swing open.
Now you can play the whole scene and can imprison or incarcerate Jabba´s enemies!
The background for the Rancor pit and the throne room are from Ralph McQuarries Jedi Portfolio.

IKEA Schranksystem Besta in der Breite auf 120 cm verändert, Loch für die falltüren des kenner Playsets ausgesägt, unten mit Metallelementen die restlichen Teile des etage wieder zusammengefügt. Und einfach eine Etage tiefer die rancor-Grube eingebaut, wo sie hingehört.

Demnächst ein Video mit dem gesamten Schranksystem und allen Dioramen.
