if you really cared about life you'd be feeding the homeless or joining the peace corps or trying to stop the war or doing cancer research. i know this sounds crazy to you but you have to make up your mind separate from what the bible says. granted the bible has some good stuff in it but it is horribly out of date and come woefully short of addressing the worlds problems. if you really loved god you wouldn't be worshipping these fairy tale characters in some magic book. god is the unviverse.

i have no problem with faith. i do have a problem with faith in the guise of willful ignorance. you should really take a good look at the natural world because that will tell you more about god than the bible. we should be concentrating on the people who exist in this world who don't have healthcare and the millions of people who die of malnutrition and starvation. this issue is a distraction.

@MikeGuggino I have read all your posts and I find no sense in your arguments. You support that we have no rights above any other animal in this world. Unfornatunately for you we are the only being in this world capable of reflecting about ourselves, there is no way we are equal to animals. I'm christian and we christians have faith because reality tell us about Jesus, our faith is a method of knowledge for us, that is what Jesus tought and the bible says.

oh yeah and people are animals, they are mammals and primates. we are part of the world. we don't own it, no matter what the bible or the declaration of independence says. science will tell you more about the nature of God than the bible ever could. the bible is a wonderful piece of literature that tells us what ancient cultures thought about the world. So much has happened since then. I mean the people in the bible didn't even know about penguins.

your view that people are somehow separate from the rest of the animals on this planet is just plain wrong. you have no real evidence to back that up. also denying our relation to the other animals on this planet is really disrespectful to those that struggled to make you who you are. you wouldn't insult your grandparents that way, or would you? it sounds very much like you have no respect for life on this planet.

@MikeGuggino god is my guide and the bible is proof. I would rather go by what the bible say than any scientist. and god didn't make life easy he made it that animals and humans would have to work for existence and with the ice age u are miss guided we've survived it once what makes u think we can't again? As long as there is a god i'll be straightly pro-life and believe everything has a right for life BECAUSE the bible says so. He says everything deserves to live so i do too!
