i keep my settings on it at frequency: about 10 oclock

gain, all the way,

low bout 12 oclock

mids: little less than 3 oclock and

highs around 10 - 11 oclock

gate and scoop on

and it sounds perfect for metal and the louder your turn it up the more "grinding" ill get out of it

i use a cheap ass musicians gear guitar, a fender 25r amp, and this pedal

and it sounds amazing

with a much better guitar and maybe seymour duncan blackouts metal though itll probably sound like a god guitar.

Nice. So this is good if you want that old heavy metal or thrash metal sound. But can this handle lets say drop c metalcore? Thinking of getting one next month.

i highly recommend NOT scooping the mids, actually peaking the mids and backing off the treble. it sounds awesome.

I wanna buy this pedal and switch it with my Lyon distortion pedal. That pedal sucks and the pedal stomp part is falling apart, not to mention, I think this pedal will sound great through my practice amp
