nowdays kashmir is well guarded by indian army, so tourists need not worry

We went to Gulmarg in the late 80's absolutely beautiful. The people were nice and Kashmir was just gorgeous.
There was a bit of violence when we were there.. not so good. People should learn tolerance.

when i was in delhi,so many indian discourage me and stop me from go to sri nagar, they told me,there is political tension and extremist group, kashmiris people really bad,
it doesn't make sense,it is totally fabricated,
i found that kashmiri people so friendly and charmed,
most of delhi people especially in pahar ganj are greeding, they are always looking for any point to cheating foreigner like me,
street and everything are dirty, dogs and shits scattering everywhere,
sri nagar so beautiful

allah always bless india
We found Kashmir a very safe place and enjoyed walking around the streets. My wife and I, on our walks in Srinigar, were invited to tea by two families. We only spent a couple hours in Gulmarg because of the snow storm, but if weather permits get out and walk around and get to know the people.

I agree.
It's strange how people can see what they want to see - if they don't take the time to open their eyes.
The thing that made the trip to Kashmir so special were the wonderful people, two of which, including a 12 year-old girl, that invited my wife and I to visit them in their home.

Thanks for your comments and glad you liked the video. I am disturbed by some of the recent comments.
I have visited many Muslim countries, and 99% of all Muslims are peaceful, kind and helpful to visitors.
The small radical element who believes in Jihad are really really scary people and it is good to be constantly vigilant - but to look at all Muslims as our enemy is a big mistake and I think will only result in escalation of mistrust and a situation where no one wins.
