Robotic Workcell with Conveyor - BCIT Mechatronics and Robotics Department - Student Project by Chris, Scott and Matthew.
The purpose of this project was to design a robotic workcell that assembles gears into a gearbox. A PLC with an HMI was used to coordinate the workcell. The project was a success and was shown at the BCIT Open House in 2006. No video of the completed project was produced, however, part way through the project Chris made this video. This was their final project for the Mechatronics and Robotics department at BCIT, the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
