My friend and I just completed almost the same trip, but without a video cam, and thats ok. We started in Lulling at City Market, then Blacks, Kruez, and finishing at Salt lick in Driftwood.
We to at too much and couldn't stand it after a while.
It was heaven and i cannot wait to do that again.

Cool video, but all three of these places are VERY average. I have eaten BBQ in Texas all my life and the best place is Porky's BBQ in Austin.

If you want a treat try the prime rib at Kreuz market. Its meat heaven.

i just graduated from lockhart and my senior year i went to highschool i actually rooted for the other football teams because they were so bad. it seems that the only good thing in lockhart is the bar-b-que but the food is over priced and it is not even that good

I used to live in Lockhart and never ate at any of those BBQ establishments (Smitty's opened years after I left and a kid I went to high school with is the BBQ pit master there). I cannot stand Big Red. It always tasted like bubble gum. And one of you guys like Manchester United, so you can't be half bad.
