A tornado tore through counties in western N.Y on Saturday, ripping the roof off a condominium and causing widespread power outages. The National Weather Service said the twister touched down in Mayville, N.Y. just before 5pm. (July 24)

closest I came to a tornado in WNY was about 10 miles away from the 1997 tornado in Perry & Warsaw,1993 Batavia.
Now that I'm in Georgia, we get em all the time. when u
hear the sirens blow, time to turn the TV on to watch the weather alert
I did some tornado clean up after the 2008 torn in Atlanta it lookd like a war zone. Tornadoes are interesting, but I don't think it's worth getting too close 2 one
