  • this 2nd movement definitely has a romantic feel to it, Beethoven was probably researching this aspect of Haydn's work the most :). I love the way Haydn's music is so varied and open to interpretation.

  • 0:43 and thereon: pure light thrown into darkness, pure water for the thirsty, pure beauty.
