Thanks. Good to know

The BD-2 wasn't in production until after SRV passed, FYI.

I am rating this five stars because I love the concept (easy audio upload to YouTube) and this initial execution. It really will be more impressive, however—and better sounding—with updated animation art and HQ audio. Thanks to the developer for all the hard work!

Thanks.
The BD-2 is a Keeley modded Boss Blues Driver. I think Mayer has (and possibly even SRV had) both of these pedals (though SRV's were likely not modded).
When the pedals were engaged, they were acting alone (i.e. I'd switch one off before switching the other on).

I'm not dissing the pedals... I don't even know what the BD-2 is/does. I'm just saying, in these samples, I liked the clean sound the best. Purely personal preference. :)
When you add the Tube Screamer, do you still have the BD-2 engaged?
You're playing sounds good, regardless.

I still have yet to play with the knobs on the pedals a whole lot, but on the Try! album I'm fairly certain Mayer's using one of these pedals.
You should update the tape artwork and make it even more awesome, in HD!

Ah, but I must balance quality vs upload time. It'd suck to take a 2MB audio file and inflate that to a 200+ MB upload just to get HD quality... :)
I'll look into it, though, as higher-quality videos do get higher-quality audio on YouTube.

Wouldnt the compression make up for that? Most of the art is static, it seems.

It should. We'll see how it goes.
I had to _really_ massage the mpeg-4 codec parameters using QuickTime to get the current version to not be uploading 200MB+ files...
