KNEC had omitted best private school, Marell Educ. Centre. KNEC: Ranking mishap caused by computer error. Just a day after results of this year's Kenya Certificate of Primary Education were released, the Kenya National Examination Council has owned up to an anomaly that saw Gilgil Academy from Nakuru County ranked as the top private school in the country with a mean score of 410.45 marks. However, the best performing school was actually Marell Academy from Bungoma, which had a mean score of 411.78 marks. The examinations body has since rectified the national rankings, blaming the development on a computer error during the processing of the results ahead of their release. Sheila Sendeyo with that report.
Lol, computer error my foot. This is human error.
