  • But anyway their music is brilliant. I wish more prog bands were more traditional like this I'm soooo sick of the power prog metal it's so unoriginal now and dull.

  • When i'm listening to Beardfish or any other band, I don't think about that at all. Why concentrate on that anyway. I'd rather it not be like, "I like that band cos the front man is fun to watch." or whatever. To much of that goes on today anyway.

  • I'm totally addicted to their new album. No reason for rehab I'd be happy if I overdose.

  • Yeah, this is good... But the song "Cashflow" is way better. It's by Beardfish, too.

  • I think just the opposite...the keyb/singer should just play keys and them have no singer.

prog is not about visuals...it's about music only. The gabriel frontman drama acting crap is one of the few exceptions, and I did not like that either. who else in 70s prog did that acting crap? Sure some 70's style psych lighting is fine but I can do without frontman drama acting like gabriel.

  • My favorite song by Beardfish. It's so layered and.. perfect.

  • exactly

  • 2:58 - "OM NOM NOM NOM"

I Laughed hysterically. I love how he adds that stuff in. "Remember fun mommy!?" awesome.

  • Prog music about visuals? No no no! Progressive Music is all about the music and the progression of it! Reason why so many prog bands rarely make music videos, and instead put out hour-and-a-half records! Visuals, in fact, tend to be a more pop music thing. However, I am not condemning the use of visuals, as it works well with Prog music (look at Pain of Salvation's BE), but most newer prog bands rarely achieve commercial success, and like Beardfish, don't have all the money in the world.

  • Why?

  • Anyone being like Peter Gabriel onstage in todays time would just be embarassing.
