The coal industry is a very importaint in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia where do you think you get the power to your house when you turn on that light switch ill bet it comes from a coal powered power station

the people that don't like this song just don't know how hard and fearful it is to have a loved one in them coal mine's but they should thank the LORD that men now and bebore them went into thoes mine's alot never came out and all for you too have electric

I love the songs and videos of the miners in eastern ky.... I've had many family members work and some killed in the coal mines. These take me down memory lane. thanks for sharing

@SilverBerenznoff23 Yeah i support them with everything in me i have tried to get my dad to stop working in the mines but he wont he said that its bout the only good job you can find around here. So i support him on everything he does just to let him know that he's not alone.

Great song, great pictures I hope people can see the trust and love that these men have for each other. When you work between two rocks that's all a man has. He can try to look out for himself but you have to have buddies watchin' out to let you know to watch out for the things you didn't see. May God bless us, the world or our families don't realize the hard work and the sacrifices that we make for them. minersince1971, I will have worked between two rocks for 40 years this coming May.
