I have this song on a tape a friend made for me back in high school. this song, "the great commandment" by camouflage and "the promise" by when in rome are some of the best 80s songs I remember but all very rare songs and hard to find. my tape was merely labelled " 3a ". I would listen to this song everytime a girl broke my heart. Does anyone have any info on this band?

This could have been an ICONIC 80s song, known by everyone and representing the great indie music of that decade. Later, it would have found its way into nostalgia provoking films and television adverts and had a resurgence of fame.

Instead, it’s a mystery only known only to small number of souls; learned in obscure music.

Frankly, I don’t know which is better – fame, concerts and 8 plus albums from VOA or this hauntingly beautiful song for a select few.

I Finally found out where the black and white film clips in this video come from: the 1964 Italian film "Prima della rivoluzione" ("Before the Revolution") staring Francesco Barilli and Adriana Asti

Wow yeah we are the lucky few! This priceless I cant wait to get a keyboard I want to cover this song!! Lucky I had a friend J Jones somehow got someone to send two versions of this to him and I was lucky to be there to get a copy too! Then we sound demod both tracks on BOSE 501 84's and 301 79's 301 upraded to JL w3 with 1200watts and a harman kardon amp running Yorkville Ls 201p subwoofers the sound was priceless!
