  • @mattypayne66 wrong*

  • @ledzkreep you are rong...americans dont understand sarcasm...and many clever types of wit used to make the uk office brilliant....the uk office is better in every way...gareth is so much better that dwight....brent is so much better than michael ect....as well, the uk office won so many awards and baftas for the best comedy and the best comedy ending and the best sit-com...the amrecian rip off is shite

  • The US version is definitely better overall. I've seen both and I stand firm behind my opinion. I will admit, the US version does rip off or rehash a good bit from the UK version but they only improve upon it.

  • Michael Scott is a better dancer quality-wise. But David Brent is the funnier one.

  • david wins

  • Loved it but the weird humming/singing really threw me off..

  • It's funny cuz it's Ricky gervais dancing!

  • @CaptainCocaine Which is why I said a lot of the viewers :) I doubt Ricky Gervais would ever step in. British comedy and American comedy differs quite a bit, Ricky only seems to do things that he writes + directs himself and he's very busy with projects at the moment. He also said he would never do another series. He ended it early so he would not outstay the the welcome.

  • @xjx2 I knew about it. I have the first "series" on DVD. The US version of the Office is a huge disappointment. When I heard they were looking for a replacement for Steve Carrell's character, I was really hoping Ricky Gervais would step in. But noooooo.... of course that wouldn't happen.

  • The UK one will always be the best in my opinion. The US version just feels like a huge ripoff. Just not to Americans because a lot of the viewers didn't know a UK version existed or came first.
